About Aiki
Aiki (they/no pronouns) lives in Hamburg and writes novels, short fiction and essays.
Their short fiction has received significant recognition including the Kurd-Laßwitz-Preis and the Deutscher Science Fiction Preis, and has been translated into French, English and Chinese .
Their novels Neongrau and Neurobiest each received the Kurd Laßwitz Preis.
Neongrau was adapted into a drama drama radio series for ARD and Neurobiest has been adapted into an audiobook for SWR Kultur.
Their latest novel Proxi has been nominated for SERAPH 2025.
The European Science Fiction Society honored Aiki with the Chrysalis Award.
For SWR Kultur Aiki co-hosts the podcast Das war morgen.
